The Grumbleweeds
STARS
OF RADIO AND TV CONTINUALLY REINVENT THEMSELVES SO THEY REMAIN THE
FUNNIEST GROUP AROUND.
The Grumbleweeds’
success over the past thirty years has been moulded to perfection
through cabaret, concerts, pantomimes and summer seasons. However,
it was on radio that they made a major breakthrough with their highly
successful BBC Radio Two series; ‘The Grumbleweeds’ (originally
called ‘The Grumbleweeds Radio Show’) was first heard
in 1979 and ran through to 1988. The show received prestigious television
and radio industry awards and was the best radio show in 1983. It
was followed in 1989 by a brand new show ‘Someone and the Grumbleweeds’,
which marked the fifteenth series in radio for the group.
The Grumbleweeds
are one of the funniest and slickest acts in show business and are
set to enjoy more success in the future. They are established as the
Number One summer and pantomime attraction and their cabaret act is
in constant demand throughout the year.
