Lulu Tribute

Maxine is a true professional in every sense of the word, performing regularly throughout the UK and Europe and is equally at home whether cruising in the Caribbean, appearing in clubs, holiday centres or touring in National Theatre productions.

In 1997, Maxine was a grand finalist in ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ after winning her heat as Lulu.

Following the success of her ‘Lulu’ show Maxine landed a main role in Bill Kenwright’s original West End production of ‘The Roy Orbison Story’, playing the parts of Patsy Cline, Dusty Springfield and K.D. Lang, where she received rave reviews.

Currently she’s touring with her Lulu and Dusty shows, and not forgetting Maxine Mazumder as herself! Maxine is also in constant demand as one of the countries top voice-over and session singers.

In any spare time she may have, Maxine writes songs with her husband and up to now they have written the theme tunes for the new ‘Basil Brush Show’ for the BBC and a cartoon which is to be broadcast all over Spain, Europe & Canada, called ‘Howdi Gaudi’.
