Meatloaf Tribute

Steve was born in Manchester, England in 1965, and has become one of the finest look-alike and sound-alikes of Meat Loaf in the world today.

In 1989, Steve put together his first Meat Loaf show, playing cabaret venues all over the UK and Ireland.

In 1993, Steve got his chance to perform on the hit TV show ‘Stars In Their Eyes’. Out of twenty thousand applicants, Steve and four other lucky acts were chosen to sing in front of a studio audience and to millions of viewers watching at home. In the same year, Steve once again appeared in ‘Stars In Their Eyes’, in the Christmas special.

After Steve’s great success on the TV show he took the Meat Loaf show on the road, touring all over the world.

In 1995 Steve appeared on Channel 4s ‘Big Breakfast’ alongside the real Meat Loaf, which gave Steve the chance to ask Meat Loaf what he thought of his show. Meat replied “great man”! Later that same year, Steve flew off to South Africa where he performed his show in all the major entertainment venues, including the Mecca of all venues ‘Sun City’.

During his time in South Africa Steve also did a national tour, playing in theatres and concert halls. Steve returned from Africa in 1997 and straight away put together a brand new show, ‘The Meat Loaf Story’, a show which chronicles Meat Loaf’s life.

Steve, who now lives in Nottinghamshire, will be celebrating his fourteenth year touring with the Meat Loaf Show.
