Richard Digence
It
was Dennis Norden who said “He is like no-one else, an entertainer
who treads a dangerous path where no others have trod”. The
public agreed when he received his first BAFTA nomination in 1990
for British Comedian of the Year.
His television career
began in 1981, after he returned from America where he supported the
legendary Steve Martin. Further appearances with Tom Jones, Jim Davidson,
Supertramp, Jethro Tull and David Essex quickly followed.
To date Richard has recorded
nineteen radio series for the BBC and has written six hundred songs
for those shows alone.
