Bobby Davro

Davro himself grew up in a famous sporting family. His father was the legendary Bill Nankeville, the British national mile and 1500m champion world record holder who represented Great Britain in two Olympic Games.
Davro has been making people laugh since he was 18 .
He made his first TV appearance in 1981 and appeared on entertainment shows such as Copy Cats, Go For It and Punchlines, before landing a number of his own shows including Bobby Davro on the Box.
He also presented the BBC variety show Rock with Laughter.
The 21st century has seen Davro taking up several acting roles, often in panto and notably in EastEnders, which he joined in 2007 and had the role of the rogue Vinnie Monks.
He’s no stranger to reality shows and he has recorded an episode of Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
In 2010 Bobby Davro became of the celebrities on Dancing on Ice. He partners Molly Quigley Moenkhoff.
“While cooking or ice-skating on telly is all good exposure”, he say - “I would rather be doing what I can do best, making people laugh”.
“Some people think of me as an old-fashioned comic but I’m not. I’ve got a very modern act. I do impressions of Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr, and there’s a lot of audience participation”.
