Best known for playing fowl mouthed compulsive liar, Jay in E4s award winning sitcom, The Inbetweeners; James was born in Croydon in the late 80s. At the age of 2 he moved to Dagenham in Essex and attended Beam Primary School. It was here, whilst taking part in school plays James found out how much he enjoyed performing and started going to a stage school at the weekends from the age of 7. At 11 James got his first professional jobs in the west end shows whistle down the wind and then Les Miserables the following year. His TV credits include Fresh, The Bill, Holby City, Sold, Skins, Teachers and The Inbetweeners.
Inbetween filming the new series of Inbetweeners and playing del boy in a one off only fools and horses special he’s been djing up and down the country, recently covering for Zane Lowe on Radio one.
