Booty Luv
Booty Luv are an English dance group formed in 2006. The duo’s members were both formally in highly successful Platinum selling U.K. hip-hop band Big Brovaz. The group have found worldwide success with their music, gaining hits in Australia, New Zealand and across much of Europe and the U.K. They are one of few acts to have achieved Top20 hits in every consecutive year since 2002, and one of even fewer acts to have three consecutive U.K dance chart number ones.
The group are perhaps best known for their debut single “Boogie 2Nite,” which reached No.2 in 2006 and established the group in the U.K. dance scene. They followed the success of the single with “Shine” which entered the Top10 the following year and further singles “Don’t Mess with My Man” and “Some Kinda Rush” both of which charted in the Top20. The success of these singles led to Booty Luv’s debut album, also entitled Boogie 2Nite peaking at No.11 on the U.K album charts, going on to earn a Silver certification for sales in excess of 70,000 copies.
In 2009 the group announced the release of a new album, featuring production by Fraser T Smith, who found major U.K chart success producing Tinchy Stryder’s chart topping single “Number One.” The first single released from the album “Say It” peaked at No.16 on the U.K. charts, continuing the groups run of Top20 hits.
