Legend is the New Musical Experience!
Legend is where the music, spirit and heritage of England, Scotland, Wales & Ireland is brought to life.... a unique cultural show to complement a corporate, incentive, themed or tourist event.
Legend is stylish 5-piece all-girl group performing stunning songs and melodies rooted in traditional British and Irish music but with a contemporary twist. The music is captivating – from medieval dances to well known folk songs (such as Scarborough Fair, Greensleeves and Gaudete), songs from shows such as Riverdance and film themes from Braveheart and Lord of the Rings. Legend’s music comes from the harp, Celtic whistle, flute, percussion, fiddle, keyboards and vocal harmonies. The group are all multi instrumentalists and singers.
The lead singer Fiona Wight is former BBC Choirgirl of the Year, lead singer of ‘Riverdance’, the ‘Lord of the Dance’ and has toured internationally, starring alongside Michael Flatley. Fiona also starred as Guinevere in ‘Excalibur’ and was lead singer with world renowned Irish vocal group ‘Anuna’. Fiona has sung for royalty and dignitaries around the world (including the British Royal Family) and performed at venues such as Saint James’s Palace, the Royal Albert Hall, and on TV and radio world-wide. A recent star of Classic FM – her music video was chosen as the Classic FM TV Christmas Video.
