Lemar
Lemar is an English soul and R&B singer songwriter who has found chart success in the U.K, Europe and Australia.
Lemar first came to public attention on the BBC talent show Fame Academy, in which he was praised by the judges and sang a duet with Lionel Richie on the song “Easy.” Lemar reached the finals of the show and ended third. Beverley Knight was so impressed with him however that she invited him to perform with her at the Hammersmith Apollo. Representatives from Sony music who attended the concert were blown away by his potential and signed him to a five year record contract worth £1 million. Since then Lemar has gone on to release three consecutive Platinum selling albums, and has had hits with “Dance (With You),” “If There’s Any Justice” and “It’s Not That Easy.”
In 2010 Lemar premiered new song “The Way Love Goes” on BBC show So You Think You Can Dance. The single was released on Valentines Day and will be followed by his eagerly anticipated Greatest Hits collection on the 1st of March.
