Peter Andre is an Australian-raised English singer-songwriter who has enjoyed chart success since the mid Nineties. In addition to music he has a highly successful reality television career including I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, the hugely popular Katie and Peter series with former wife Katie Price and current series Peter Andre: The Next Chapter , documenting his life following his marriage.
Andre’s international career began with his highly popular second single “Mysterious Girl,” which reached the Top5 on numerous worldwide charts, reaching No.2 in the U.K. and earning Platinum certification with sales in excess of 300,000 copies. The following year Andre released two U.K. No.1 hit singles, “Flava” and “I Feel You.” The success of the singles resulted in Andre’s album Natural topping the U.K. charts and earning the star his second Platinum disc. He achieved moderate success following this release, achieving four further Top10 singles in the next two years, both taken from Silver certified albums. His career was massively turned around in 2004 following an appearance on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, in which he met model Katie Price, whom he would later marry, and penned the infamous “Insania.” After leaving the jungle “Mysterious Girl” was re-released, beating its original peak and topping the U.K. charts, in addition to “Insania” which charted in the U.K. Top3. The success of the singles resulted in new album The Long Road Back reaching the Top5, earning Silver certification. His two albums following this, A Whole New World (an album of duet covers with Price) and Revelation were both certified Platinum in the U.K, a testament to Andre’s continuing public appeal.
2010 saw the release of the star’s seventh studio album “Unconditional Love Songs,” which reached the Top.10 in the U.K. and has led to a sell out national tour.
