Bear Grylls
Bear Grylls is one of the most successful and well liked young adventurers in the world. Among his numerous achievements Grylls is the youngest Briton ever to climb Mount Everest, reaching the summit when he was just 23. He also led the first crew to cross the Atlantic via the Arctic Circle in an open rigid inflatable boat and is the youngest Briton ever to climb Mount Ama Dablam, described by many as “unclimbable.”
Many have marvelled at these achievements in light of the fact that two years prior to climbing Everest Grylls was involved in a near fatal parachuting accident in Africa, narrowly escaping paralysis after breaking his back in three places. This led to a year of painful rehabilitation but through his renowned determination Grylls not only returned to full health but raised the large sponsorship amount required to achieve his Everest dream.
A unique ability to communicate and engage with people have made him a highly sought after motivational speaker, often appearing on the international business circuit winning over the toughest audiences on a long, high profile list of clients.
