Ian Marchant - Juggler
Ian Marchant first knew that he wanted to juggle at the age of 15 when he saw two jugglers on the "Paul Daniels Magic Show". He went to the local juggling club and was taught the basics, after which he took his juggling into his own hands.
He first performed as a juggler two years later in 1996 and with a friend formed a company "Nightflight Entertainment", providing entertainment for the local nightclubs in Bedford and the surrounding area's. He then moved to London where he learnt the discipline and technique needed to become a fantastic juggler and performer and was taught by two of the worlds leading jugglers: Sean Gandini and Rod Laver.
In 2000 he worked at the Millenium Dome alongside Gandini performing juggling shows throughout the year.
He has performed at many prestigious venues and events including The Quell Arts Forum in Belgium, the British Juggling Convention and the European Juggling Convention to name but a few.
He also appeared on the legendary British children’s television programme ‘Blue Peter’ performing his hat juggling routine and appeared in the Panorama television series for the BBC.
He has also performed at many cabarets in London and around the country including the Circus Space Cabaret and has performed on hundreds more stages and streets across the UK.
