Non-stop Eighties hits, starring the lead singer of a hit nineties boy band, it's the Magic Of The 80’s concert show.

Among the talented cast of the fast-moving theatre show is Matthew James, formerly the lead singer with chart-topping pop group Bad Boys Inc. He sang lead on all six of the boy band's top 20 hits, and has now traded in his pretty boy image to thrill audiences wearing a full face of make-up in the hit-packed Magic Of The Eighties touring stage show.

The production pays tribute to the artists and hit songs of the eighties - the decade when real men wore make-up and backcombed girls boasted the biggest hair in history. It was also the decade that discovered Boy George, Madonna, Blondie, Michael Jackson (as a solo artist), Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Wham!, Soft Cell, the Eurythmics, the Human League and many, many more music icons.

The Magic Of The 80s recreates the era, featuring more than 40 hit songs from this unforgettable decade.

Having previously supported Bananarama, Howard Jones, Go West and Marc Almond and extensively toured the UK, Europe and the Middle East in their own right, the cast of The Magic Of The Eighties guarantees a life-like slice of eighties' nostalgia.

Matthew's fellow cast member Martyn Hope, a former member of Shakin' Stevens' band, has been there and is currently doing that. Martyn features in a cast that boasts an incredible pedigree; starring roles in West End musicals like ‘Rent’ and ‘Elvis The Musical’; playing with Edwin Starr, Gene Pitney, David Soul, Dannii Minogue, the Freestylers, Freda Payne, Brian Conley and Ronnie Corbett; lead parts in successful touring productions such as Dancing in the Street, Heaven Can Wait and Return To The Forbidden Planet.

"The Magic of the 80’s authentically recreates an era when the music was as fabulous as the dress sense was ridiculous," says show producer Michael Taylor. "With so many great songs squeezed into the two-hour spectacular, there really is something to please everybody in this show."

Sandwiched into the completely live production are classic 80’s songs such as Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Relax, Gary Numan's Cars, Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love, Bananarama's Venus, Katrina and the Waves' Walking on Sunshine, Yazoo's Don't Go, Joan Jett's I Love Rock 'n' Roll, Belinda Carlisle's Heaven is a Place on Earth, Tears For Fears' Everybody Wants to Rule the World and Europe's Final Countdown.
